Verity Baptist Church was begun after seeing a need for an independent Baptist church, with a desire to follow the fundamental truths of the Bible, in the east-central area of Colorado Springs. The first service was February 8th, 2004, and was held in the home of Pastor Cassada, with 8 people in attendance. After a few months the church started holding meetings in a local business meeting room, and from there was moved to another larger rental facility. After 6 years of praying and growing in attendance the Lord provided a building for the church to buy, a permanent home for the church, in central Colorado Springs. Due to the difficulties experienced during the lockdowns we moved to a new location. We are now at 1520 N Union Blvd suite 202, 2 blocks west of our old location. We are open and continuing in the Lord’s work.

We are a Christ-centered, King James Version only, soulwinning, family focused ministry. We are traditional in hymns and in our services. We support missionaries who are on the field winning souls and planting churches.  Pray for us as we labor for our LORD and SAVIOR.
